Two typical cottages found on the Leominster canal

Lock Cottage on the canal near Woofferton 1969, now demolished

There were originally two cottages here and housed the Canal Company surveyor and family who also oversaw the two Woofferton locks. A smaller adjacent one housed a general company canal worker and his family and can just be seen in the distance to right.
